Purpose for the System Maintenance:
To restore access to SoftMouseDB Enterprise on www.streamcell.com

SoftMouseDB Enterprise service access will be unavailable as follows:
Date: Sunday February 28, 2010
Time: 2:00 AM EST  to  6:00 AM EST

SoftMouseDB Enterprise service access will resume as follows:

Time: 6:00 AM EST

Please Note:
The access to SoftMouseDB Enterprise on the Iseehear Research Continuity Environment will be closed once the SoftMouseDB Enterprise service has been restored on www.streamcell.com

SoftMouseDB ** Important Message** Update # 1

SoftMouseDB at www.streamcell.com is down. We are working on restoring service now.

Current subscribers to the SoftMouseDB Enterprise: Please check your email for important information and instructions.

Incident Summary: On Sunday evening February 21 during a routine test of the SoftMouseDB Enterprise service we discovered that the SoftMouseDB application was not operating up to specifications. A decision was made to take the primary service offline in order investigate and resolve the issue. In the interim the Iseehear Research Continuity Environment was activated to provide service to our subscribers.

Advisory Notice: SoftMouse System

SoftMouseDB Enterprise file downloads do not work using Internet Explorer. www.streamcell.com

Symptoms:
When you try to open a Microsoft Office document or a PDF file from SoftMouseDB using the Internet Explorer browser, you may receive the following error message:

Unable to download.
Internet Explorer was unable to open this site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.


SoftMouseDB functions affected:

1- Export to Spreadsheet
2- Files that you have uploaded to your Mouseline records

Recommendation:
To effectively use the two functions listed above, we recommend that you use the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

To download the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, click on the link below to download from their authorized website:
Mozilla Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

Cause:
We have isolated this issue to the cache system used in the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser, specifically for websites that use Secure Socket Layer (SSL), such as https://www.streamcell.com

Iseehear's next steps:
The Iseehear development team is currently working through a few potential solutions to this issue.
