Advisory Notice: SoftMouse System

SoftMouseDB Enterprise file downloads do not work using Internet Explorer. www.streamcell.com

Symptoms:
When you try to open a Microsoft Office document or a PDF file from SoftMouseDB using the Internet Explorer browser, you may receive the following error message:

Unable to download.
Internet Explorer was unable to open this site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.


SoftMouseDB functions affected:

1- Export to Spreadsheet
2- Files that you have uploaded to your Mouseline records

Recommendation:
To effectively use the two functions listed above, we recommend that you use the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

To download the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, click on the link below to download from their authorized website:
Mozilla Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

Cause:
We have isolated this issue to the cache system used in the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser, specifically for websites that use Secure Socket Layer (SSL), such as https://www.streamcell.com
